COMPARISON FRAMEWORK

Understanding scope, not ranking standards.

Green ticks indicate a document’s stated primary focus or a proposed ICDA feature; red crosses indicate that the criterion is outside the document’s primary intended scope, not that the document is deficient. A dash means that the point needs document-specific review. ICDA features remain proposals until formally adopted.

Important limitations

This is an illustrative draft, not a clause-by-clause audit or finding of equivalence. IOGP Report 411 and selected IMCA offshore diving guidance address offshore contexts; IMCA publishes other material that may apply more broadly. UK HSE L104 is guidance relating to UK diving legislation and is not an international voluntary certification scheme. Exact document editions, scope statements and further comparisons (including ADCI and ADAS) require review by the ICDA technical committee before publication as a verified assessment.

ICDA is under development. No contractor recognition or certification is currently offered.
