PROPOSED CLIENT MEMBERSHIP

The scope, eligibility, benefits and fees are still being developed.

Potential options include client/dutyholder membership, corporate stakeholder participation and specialist technical engagement. Participation would not transfer legal duties to ICDA or substitute for project-specific due diligence.

IN DEVELOPMENT · FOR CLIENTS

A practical framework for contractor assurance.

ICDA intends to publish a Client Assurance Framework to help clients assess, compare and select commercial diving contractors against the proposed ICDA Standard. The framework is intended to provide consistent evaluation criteria for personnel competence, operational capability, safety management, diving equipment, documentation and supporting evidence.

It will distinguish between self-declared compliance, demonstrated capability and independently reviewed assurance. The framework will complement—not replace—applicable national legislation and client duties.
